Airport and Flight Attendant assistant graduate profile

The Airport and Flight Attendant is an integral assistant, with high service vocation framed under security guidelines, which will allow them to safely develop any assigned work, either on board both national and international aircraft, as well as airport services, travel agencies and tourism companies in general. The above will be achieved with the development of the following skills:

  1. Attend travelers using the English language.
  2. Manage the integrated reservation system (Amadeus y Customer Management).
  3. Develop activities, processes and procedures seen in compliance with the regulatory subjects required by the UAEAC to process the license.
  4. Act responsibly towards security, but with a high level of proactivity to solve complex situations.
  5. To know and describe the national and international tourism environment and becoming a global training airport and flight assistant.

Advantages of the graduate in the industry:

Our graduates have the possibility of consolidating the knowledge and concepts acquired during their stay at the institution, developing activities such as:

  1. Practices in airports with a duration of 300 hours, rotating through the different service areas inside the domestic and international (Eldorado) airport
  2. Flight experience* in the AIRBUS320 fleet 
  3. Ditching
  4. Survival
  5. Earth evacuation
  6. Fire extinguishing practice

* The flight experience can only be taken if the student has an average of more than 90% during the entire academic process.

Certificate issued:

At the end, the Avianca Aeronautical Instruction Center will grant the student who meets and approves all the requirements of the program, an attitude certificate from the Airport and Flight Assistant Program.

This certificate does not attribute any title of formal education nor does it constitute for AVIANCA S.A. any obligation of employment

Aircraft Maintenance Technician graduate profile

Our graduate of Aircraft Maintenance Technician program, is an analytical person with sense of safety in each of the processes in which it intervenes, be it routine or periodic tasks of aircraft maintenance, as well as the repair of components in aeronautical workshops or a repair station; In addition to this, our graduates acquire skills to perform practices that will allow them to obtain their license as aeronautical personnel before the Civil Aeronautics Unit (UAEAC). 

* The name of the license may vary according to the Colombian aeronautical regulations changes.

The skills developed during their permanence in the institution are:

  1. People with competitive skills in the labor field.
  2. Interpret concepts described in the technical English of maintenance manuals, necessary for the development of their functions.
  3. Act safely and with a high level of efficiency to solve complex situations and high level of stress.
  4. Develop activities, processes and maintenance procedures, according to the contents seen during the program, which are complemented by academic visits in the real sector.

Certificate issued:

Upon completion, the Avianca Technical Instruction Center will grant the student who has complied and approved, with all the requirements, a Certificate of attitude from the Aircraft Maintenance Technician program. This certificate does not attribute any formal education title, nor does it constitute for AVIANCA S.A. any obligation of employment relationship.
